The Dr. still claims my vision is amazing for someone with oil in her eye - - (it's 20/60 with no glasses or contact at all). In a little over 2 weeks we'll get the oil out and then I'll really begin to feel like I'm on my way back. There's even a chance I'll be back in contact lenses by the time school starts. Thank goodness. I hate my glasses. Among other reasons, they make me touch my face more and I already have horrible skin, the last thing I need to be doing is touching it, just makes me break out more.
Remember those years in your youth when you thought that once you hit a certain age your skin would stop breaking out? HAH! The best I can claim is that it's not as much.

Even more unfair is when you get pimples after menopause--and you didn't even struggle with them as a teenager. Contacts, reading glasses, hearing aids, belly weight, and now acne. Getting older is not for wimps.
